HISTORY:
The foundation for OCi was laid more than 35 years ago when the majority owner, Mr. Rich, began practicing as an associate structural engineer with Fluor Corporation in Southern California. After becoming licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.E.), he began a career designing and manufacturing overhead cranes.
For the past 30 years, overhead cranes, hoists and monorail systems have been the number one focus with customer satisfaction our number one priority. Unlike many crane companies, OCi customers benefit from an experienced professional engineering staff as well as a full compliment of well-educated and highly motivated service professionals.
LOCATION:
OCi has recently moved into a beautiful new 46,000 sq. ft. building in Woods Cross, Utah just minutes north of Salt Lake City. The new facility is centrally located to provide repair and warranty service across the entire Western United States. And with our field office in Mesa, Arizona, we are able to service from Southern California to Texas and across the Mexican border.
In addition, we are well positioned to provide equipment across the entire US including installation services where permitted and field supervision with start-up and load testing functions where a contractor’s license may be required. Future field offices are planned in order to continue to bring our technicians ever closer to our end users.
For our international customers, we are centrally located between the ports of Los Angeles and Houston allowing us to easily ship by truck to the nearest port for CIF shipments. And we offer start-up and commissioning services on almost any jobsite.
LICENSING:
OCi is licensed as Professional Engineers in Utah, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Wyoming. We're also licensed contractors in Utah, Arizona and Nevada.
In addition, we are members of the American Institute of Steel Constructors and the American Welding Society.
